Fender Musicmaster Burgundy Mist Refin 1950s

Summary

Finish: The body has been refinished. The neck finish is original.

Body Material: Ash

Body Details: Solid ash body. String ferrules have been added, and holes have been drilled to convert it to a string-through body. A route has been added to fit the leads from the added pickup selector switch. The routes in general have been modified. A pencil date of "6-56" is present in the bridge pickup cavity.

Neck Details: Bolt-on maple neck and fingerboard with dot inlays. Two extra string trees have been installed. The tuners have been replaced, and the tuning post holes have been modified to fit the existing tuners. A pencil date of "6-56" is present on the heel.

Electronics: Seymour Duncan Antiquity Duo Sonic pickups with three-position selector switch, master volume, and master tone. None of the electronics are original.

Pickup Measurements: Neck 6.40K, Bridge 7.17K

Hardware: All hardware, except the pickguard and strap buttons, has been replaced. The pickguard has been finished.

Weight: 6 lbs 14 oz

Cosmetic Condition: This vintage guitar is in good condition. The original finish on the neck is worn. There are scratches and dings thoughout.

Modifications/Repairs: The body has been refinished. String ferrules have been added, and holes have been drilled to convert the body to a string-through body.
