Electronics: The pickups have been replaced with a pair of DiMarzio jazz bass pickups. The original pickups are included in the case, but read open and will need to be rewound. The jack has been replaced and the original is included in the case. The pots are original. The guitar has two single coil pickups, two volume pots, and a tone pot. The pot codes date to 1973.

Pickup Measurements: neck - 5.6 kΩ, bridge - 5.8 kΩ

Hardware: The pickup cover, bridge cover, and finger rest have been removed and are not included with the instrument. The G string saddle screw has been replaced. The tone knob has been replaced. All other hardware is original.

Weight: 9 lbs 4 oz

Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Fender bass has aged well and is in good condition. The finish is glossy with shallow surface scratches, small dings, and scuffs throughout. The top shows multiple empty screw holes where the bridge cover, pickup cover, and finger rest have previously been removed. The top also has the shadows of two hand-shaped stickers between the bridge and control panel; these are visible only at the right angle or under a black light. The edges of the body show shallow dents and a few finish chips. The back of the neck and edges of the headstock show some small finish chips. The metal hardware is lightly tarnished with age.

Modifications/Repairs: The bridge cover, pickup cover, and finger rest have been removed. The G string saddle screw and tone knob have been replaced. Both pickups have been replaced with DiMarzio jazz bass pickups.

Tech Notes: The bass plays well with low action and optimal neck relief. The frets are medium with light play wear. The serial number dates to 1973 and the neck stamp is illegible.
